 This topic has been pinned, so it's probably important

GameUserSettings.ini Settings - Server config
Kibble values are between 0 and 1, where 1 is 100%. example, 0.1 is 10%, 0.2 is 20%

MutationRolls is the max amount of mutations that can be gained from a single breeding
MutationPoints is the amount of points a single mutation will give to the mutated stat (default is 2)

[MutationKibble]
Basic=0.160000
Simple=0.320000
Regular=0.480000
Superior=0.640000
Exceptional=0.800000
Extraordinary=1.000000
MutationRolls=1
MutationPoints=2

HI! I would like to disable the gender swap. Is it possible?

Hey, we're using your Mod together with the BestEgg-Maker. In the BestEgg-Maker the Mutation (also the multiple Mutations) were shown and we choosed the ones we liked. Would it be possible that you implement an Option to the Config so the users can turn on/off multiple Mutations? That would be nice!

I've decided to add this to the next update as a config option, the multiple mutations will return very soon.

It works perfectly. Thanks a lot! You made my day :-)

The "MutationRolls=1" setting means dinos can only gain 1 mutation, so they can't inherit up to 20 like when breeding a 20 mutation-line?

Also, now that the kibble can only be used in the mother, we can't assure 20 mutations from both sides (mother and father) but just the mother?

No, MutationRolls means you will only get a single new mutation. You can breed your dinos with mutations and the offspring will inherit just fine.

Also no, the father has never worked with the kibble and you still get mutations on both sides. I think its just a higher chance for the female side.

What would increasing the Mutation Roll and Mutation point do?
ashytones Feb 15, 2021 @ 12:32am
It is a MUCH higher percentage for the females

The original post here says what both Mutation Roll and Mutation Points do.

MutationRolls is the max amount of mutations that can be gained from a single breeding. So if you set this to 5 and use an Extraordinary Kibble you will get 5 different random mutations. If using a lesser kibble like basic which is a 16% chance, if you are lucky may end up with 1 - 3 random mutations.

MutationPoints is the amount of points a single mutation will give to the mutated stat (default is 2). so if you have this set to 10 and have a 40 stam and mutate stam ONCE it will come out with 50 stam

Yes it is much higher to get female sided mutes and that is how it is going to stay for the time being until I work out an alternate solution. Just breed that female with your male breeder parent for now and you can switch the counter to the fathers side.

Last question, if you increase the Extraordinary to like 2.0000 what would it do?
Kriogenic  [developer] Feb 15, 2021 @ 2:12pm
Never tried that, you could always try it and report back here, I am interested to know.

For some reason it decreases the chances, so I do not recommend it.
