"Thinking of a good parking spot"
I've noticed this with padestrian areas when realistic parking is turned on. Cars will just wait in the road causing traffic jams even when there are plenty of parking spots available in the vacinity if where the vehicle is going.

Is there a fix for this?

Not yet. I'm working on it. The main reason why they stuck is they see better parking spot near target building but it is not accessible because cars cannot use new pedestrian streets

This problem has been solved since the latest update.

I never had this problem befor but now i'm having it since like a week.
@Krzychu1245: Are you still working on it or is this a new (maybe slightly different) problem?
My cars stop in the middle of the road to because they are looking for a parking spot. Some of them are going to a place while other have the status "leaving the city"
Also happens at the airport.

Is there still no fix for this? Apparantly there was supposed to be a fix in v.11.7.1.0, but I still experience this. This occurs when I use restrictions like vehicle bans or lane restrictions. This causes trouble in big inner city areas.

It's completely different problem, known for ages but very hard to solve, no solution other than not using a strict restictions in those places or redesigning roads. At least for now

So this has something to do with restricted roads the cars would use to get to a parking space?
The thing is the problem does not consistently appear as far as I can tell. I also have the feeling that when I have these issues and pause the game for some time, the problem temporarly solves itself again.
I also had the "stopping" happen to busses. Which where not unbunching, but just not leaving the bus stop (pausing the game seemed to help too). Are you aware of that problem too?

Enable and check pathfinding stats (maintenance tab then counter should bevisible when you open menu)
With buses there is another issue, if they don't wait for path (mentioned PF queue indicator shows low values -> <100-200) then there is something called Runwaway passenger - passenger might move away instead of boarding the bus. I don't think there is a reliable solution.

Thank you for explaining! I found the "pathfinding stats" in Overlays instead of the Maintenance tab.
After activating the stats, I saw it go up to over 10'000 sometimes. (had to pause after some minutes of gameplay, when cars and busses startet stopping everywhere until the counter cleared)
But this was some days ago. Yesterday it may have gone up to 500 for a short time. But always cleared down to a low 1-2 digit count..I have no idea what changed besides the updated IPPT mod by Badpeanut. I guess it doesnt happen anymore. But I will keep an eye on it.

I still have this issue on latest, had to disable Advanced Parking AI to solve it.

What's the problem? Cars cannot use pedestrian paths so placing parking near pedestrian path makes it unreachable.
