When i load a savegame the game always freezes on start. Other times the whole games crashes. When i switch of TMPE the game runs normally.

I have the same problem (Linux) - have been doing a lot of testing trying to work out which mod/s are crashing my game, and TMPE (with nothing else installed, tried both with and without Harmony) causes this crashing/freezing issue - even if I don't actually use the mod in game

Similar problem on Linux. I can start a new game with the mod enabled just fine, then when I tweak a mod setting (dynamic lanes and disable despawning), I get crashes when I unpause the game. From that point on, I get crashes when I unpause, even if I restore those settings. It works again after I disable the mod.

Same problem, also on Linux. I've not tested with only TM:PE enabled, but the crash only happens with it enabled. I've disabled only TM:PE and the game never crashed again.

I discovered that huge issue thread shortly after commenting here! Seems there's no solution so far. Mod really needs to slap a big 'windoze only' stamp on its page - calling it 'stable' currently feels like a massive troll :/

Sorry, it's not my problem that Linux version use a bit different runtime version. Game assembly we are modding/patching is identical. The problem is the runtime on which game runs. We have 0 control over that.
There are some solution like this(2 days after you've posted comment here): https://github.com/CitiesSkylinesMods/TMPE/issues/817#issuecomment-766389318 and some users reported it helped.

Thanks Krzychu1245 I'll check out the thread again - sorry for my rather harsh comment - obviously it's not something in your control. I think I was frustrated because I want to be able to use your wonderful mod so much!

It also bothers me. I would like to fix it, but I probably needs some kind of hack I haven't discovered yet.
