Edit/Solution: I realized I was subscribed to another character editor mod for 1.5 that seems to be set to hidden at this point yet I still had it on my list from awhile ago. I went and found the proper character editor mod made by VOID and subbed to it. At first in the prep screen the appearance options seemed bugged when I tried them out but then I loaded in the world and tried the character editor UI mid game, now it works without issue for me.
Yeah its after I start a save. I tried to use Character Editor in the prep screen when selecting my pawns, but it was very glitchy whenever I tried to customize appearance and it didn't seem to work properly. After I loaded into the world and started my save however, it seemed to work fine. I am still having a few annoying issues but I am not sure if it is my modlist or the actual mod itself.
The only issues I am having are quite odd and very minor but for some reason I am unable to switch the "lid" and "brow" options on my male colonists I started with at the beginning, this doesn't happen for other male colonists that I recruited later. Another one I am having is anytime I switch to Sanpaku pupil shape on any male colonists, even ones that joined later, it changes the eyes to pure white.
Also the beards and tattoos don't line up to the face shapes at all but I am sure this has always been the case since the mod changes the dimensions of how the heads are shaped. I probably just need a beard/tattoo mod made for this one.
