incompatible with alpha genes?

Heads removing eyes like the helixan gene and the new xenotypes adding weird head shapes are overridden by this mod, intended behavior?

Im considering removing this mod (with the Vanilla Textures Expanded addon) just because i cant see alien heads in biotech.
