suggestion: add default infinite ammo check box and still use new ammo types.
Can we please have the option to still select ammo types when disabling the ammo portion of the mod?

Because I like CE, but there is never enough ammo to defend against large waves. So I disabled ammo to have infinite reloading again. Now anyone with armor basically becomes unstoppable and I have to melee them to death. It would be nice if selecting ammo type was retained or a simple infinite ammo check box was added instead of having to disable ammo entirely.

ammo is piss cheap, all you need is few pieces of steel and if you want to craft more superior ammo you need also some fuel or components

I really want this for so long. Sure ammo is cheap but that not the problem.
The problem is the hassel that come with refill the ammo and the bug.

I wish the "disable ammo" feature was removed. People should learn how to manage their inventories effectively. Enable ammo if you really wanna play CE the way it was intended.

TBH if this was a thing I would maybe use it just to clamp down on the ammo clutter. Currently handling ammo is a giant QoL headache, you get a few pieces of gazillion different ammos from all the raids, even if you disable storage for most, they will fall out of a gun when you smelt it etc. And for the ammo you actually use it's usually "craft until X" and a loadout and that's that, not really much different than having an infinite ammo.

You should only be able to use FMJ ammo when the ammo feature of the mod is turned off because then it would be too broken otherwise. You could craft a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lee enfield and suddenly gain the ability to use APDS ammo. If you dont want to put up with managing all the ammo its fine but dont expect to be able to split thrumbos in half for free.
