LWM's Deep Storage

Empty meat hook, but 'no storage available for animal corpse'
I have just survived the most adorable manhunter pack of bunnies, but now I want all those fuzzy little corpses hung up somewhere, but my colonists won't haul to meat-hooks... I don't know why this is, nor can I figure a reason.
I have no problem with basic resources in skips (or clothing on shelves, weapons in lockers etc) it's only the meat-hooks.

This may be linked with harvesting organs post-mortem, or 'shear those corpses' (the only related other mods I have installed) but I'll let you know if I find a fix.

Also having this issue. Did you ever figure it out?

I've not been back since the latest DLC drop... The best workaround I found was to have the meathook max priority, surrounded by a storage area of a lower priority. I'm usually using some kind of small-range hauler bot or designated 'in base' hauler who will move it to the hook...
For some strange reason, the longer the haul the bigger the issue.
As far as a proper fix, not found one since there's some interaction bug with the 'hauling to' that is causing the issue. What mods are you using? I'll dig up my old list.

It's because meethooks have 12 storage capacity for only one tile setting (not just being on one tile) so they can only store corpses one at a time even if they've a capacity of twelve.
I'm going to make a comment on the mod page itself.

How does that work if the hook is totally empty. There is nothing on the hook at all.
