Hello, I’ve been playing for a few years now on and off and have learned mostly on my own, just wondering what sets someone apart that finishes as a rook/queen compared to bishop which is usually where I get stuck (I also don’t have the time or patience to fill bishop lobbies).

Just wondering if there are any good resources where you can learn more about less obvious things like, which items work best or give the most benefit to certain hero’s, positioning optimization for different opponent types, etc. I’m used to playing games with endless info online to learn more about it and it makes this game uniquely difficult not having any resources to progress further and basically just experimenting and trying to watch what other people are doing.

I seem to always fall apart late game when people with a better knowledge of these things can make the appropriate changes based on what their opponents are doing.

I also have very little knowledge of actual dota gameplay itself which probably hinders my character knowledge a good amount, but have still been able to average upper middle pack finishes with the occasional win.

Any help would be great! And if this is the proper place to get this kind of info, I will just start asking more specific questions as they come up. Thanks
