what am i missing here?
I keep facing people who are getting lvl 3 units almost instantly in the game, but yet i can almost never seem to get them. I will watch everyone to figure out what to invest in. you need 9 / 20 units to get the lvl 3. Unless i'm just missing some big♥♥♥♥♥shortcut or something. 8 players, the odds you can draw 9 of the same one before turn 10 seems near impossible, but yet i keep seeing it. it's usually 1 person who gets crazy lucky while 2-4 more do pretty good and then the rest just♥♥♥♥♥♥out and die.

every match is 100% total silence, is this a common thing in dota? i'm not sure if maybe they all speak different languages so nobody speaks or perhaps the players in this game are just non social or just plain awkward and don't speak.

sometimes treant with merge with 2 units and other times it requires 3, wtf is up with this. i have no clue why it's not consistent.

Regarding treants merging, its a feature of the druid combination. If you have 2 different druids (enchantress, treant, nature's prophet, lone druid), then it only takes two 1* treants to create a 2* treant. But both druids need to be on the field when you try to perform the merge. You have to place both on the field, then try the merge, then remove any extra pieces from the board. If you have 4 different druids on the field, you can merge two 2* druids to create a 3* druid, same rules apply.

As for not speaking, when you play with random people, yes there won't be much talking. Some people don't speak your language, others just don't want to talk. If you want to have a social game, start a lobby with your friends. You might need to just talk a bit in a game before other people are willing to speak with you.

As for getting 3* units quickly, yes, luck is involved. Druids get 3* much faster than others, and sometimes players are investing a lot of gold in early rerolls. While luck does have a huge influence, you also need to make wise decision. If 4 players are building warriors, the probability of you getting a 3* warrior is low. Sell your unmerged units and rebuild your team with units that other players aren't using.

well then there is a huge bug because I have had multiple times where it 100% requires 3 of them to merge and other times where it only takes 2. at first i thought maybe i was not paying enough attention or mistaken, but i have now seen it for sure multiple times and it appears completely random. usually that 1 cost druid chick requires 3 to make a lvl 2, but then last 2 games she only needed 2, treant is usually 2, but mid - late game sometimes it requires 3.

is there a scenario where this should happen?

i really hope they add a feature to see how many of a unit are in play total. it's such a hassle having to look at all these small units while they are moving around becuase you sure as well can't do it while they are standing still.

i finish in the top half in almost every match, but lose because i can't get more than maybe 1 lvl 3. maybe i need to try selling off early or rolling more. it doesn't seem like it's really worth it to try and hold gold for higher bonus.

the inconsistency is driving me crazy. i just had 2 druids out on turn 3 and nothing happens. then later on turn 18 2 druids merge. next game 2 druids out turn 6 they merge. really needs full instructions so we can know 100% the exact way it will work, i'm tired of having to leave games so soon because of this crap.

it is absolutely consistent, you just don't get it. you need 2 DIFFERENT druids on board so they can merge by 2 and not 3. and you need 4 DIFFERENT druids if you want to get a 3* from 2 2*.
What do you mean ? You need 4 different whatever druids on the field, or 4 different classes ? (Like having 4 furion on the board + whatever u want to upgrade, or having 1 furion, 1 enchant, 1 LD, 1 treant + whatever you want to upgrade ?)
Meliodas Jan 15, 2019 @ 10:17pm
Example: You have to upgrade your 2 lvl 1 enchantress to a lvl 2 enchantres.. YOU HAVE TO PLACE ANOTHER DRUID IN ORDER TO MAKE THE SPELL WORK

1 Druid in the battlefield >> Upgrade a druid with 3 of the same unit to lvl 2
2 DIFFERENT Druids (ex: Enchantress, Trent) in the battlefield >> Any druid can get a upgrade with 2 of the same unit to lvl 2
4 DIFFERENT Druids (Trent, Enchantress, Lone Druid and Furion) in the battlefield >> Two lvl 2 druids of the same unit can lvl up to lvl 3
Ah I see, so last time I tried druid, I had 2 level 2 of furion, treant and enchant, for a total of 6 and it didn't merge, it was because I needed 1 lone druid ? That would explain everything, but I wish they pointed it out already in the tooltip

Is pointed out in the ability. Is just a little hard to understand. This can give good tricks like, for example if you need only 1 LVL 2 enchantress and you only have 2, and you cant find the third, then but any other druid, place it on the battlefield, let the enchantress lvl up and then sell that druid you just brought
[Sorry my bad english]

thanks for the help.. my inconsistency was from not having the multiple types of druids. so if i want to merg 2 enchant i need 2 enchant and say 1 treant and then with the 3 star need 2, 2 star enchants and then 1 of 3 different druids. the game is much better now.

there is one other thing that has be baffled and maybe it was a bug.. so i had lone druid, pulled another and merged lvl 2 no problem because i also had 2 other druids out, this was mid-late game. next turn i pulled 2 more lone druids and i try to merge them, but nothing happens. i did the EXACT same thing from the previous turn with the all the same units and nothing changing.. So I also had a 2 cost druid the funky looking one who upgrades with that big flower looking wand thing. I started experimenting and when I pulled them off the board and played 4 cost lone druid + 2 cost whatever it's name it merged into a lvl 6 lone druid. I have been unable to make different druid types merge with consistency.

what are the rules to merge different druids and any idea why the lone druid didn't merge again? I was not trying to merge into a 3 star, i was trying to make 2 stand alone 2 star lone druids. yeah this would make a 3 star if i had 4 types, but i was playing 2 lone druids at once, didn't merge, but the lone druid + 2 cost druid did merge and had to keep 1 lone druid sitting on the board doing nothing.
