Steam Deck compatibility
Heyo! I can get Slay the Spire working on the Deck, of course, but running mods is a different story - I think because ModTheSpire has that launch window where you confirm your modlist.

Wondering if there's a way to config ModTheSpire to *just launch* right into the StS instance. It would circumvent the issue...

+1, technically it works, just tap the screen when its black to select mods. would be nice if that screen wasn't broken.

+1 having a pre-launch window is so unnecessary and breaks steam deck compatibility

edit: apparently this issue is because the deck defaults to emulating the game instead of using the linux version

read through this guide to fix it:

So I tried this, and the mod launcher does work a lot better. But it seems to have broken controller support for the game? None of my buttons do anything, and I've tried fiddling with the input settings in the game a bit too

yes sometimes the buttons do act very odd, I had to play around with rebinding and sometimes need to touch the screen to get the mouse mode to show up then use the dpad again etc

annoying but can get around it
