Issue with mechs not following recharge rules - SOLVED
SOLUTION: Issue is from Better Pawn Control mod. That mod affects the new mech tab added with Biotech. When opening the mech tab, all mechs will resume work immediately regardless of charge. Sorry for such a huge post only to find the problem a few minutes later.

Man, I hate to even post this seeing as you're up to your eyeballs in issues right now, but do you think this mod might be interfering with mechs and their recharging habits? I'm having a hell of a time getting my mechs to recharge when and how they're supposed to. They just seem to come and go to the charger as they please without ever charging fully. It almost seems like they're going to the charger for a "quick top off" before heading to their next task, and this is the first mod in my list I would expect that kind of behavior from.

My results are all over the place, though. I'll enumerate the scenarios I've witnessed below along with the specific kind of mech I've seen do it:

* Reach the lower charge threshold (5%), go to charger, charge until in the 40%-50% range, then head off to continue working. [Tunneller]
* Saw one with a charge over 80% go to a charger, then leave before reaching 90%. [Constructoid]
* Reach 5% charge, head to charger (as it's supposed to), charge until 11%, then leave to continue work. [Tunneller]
* Literally hopped on the charger with 24% charge and then hopped right back off to continue working. It was a lifter bot, and there's plenty of hauling to be done, so its charge was not low nor was it lacking in work to be done. [Lifter]

If you don't have a solution for me, Pick Up and Haul is my next-most suspect. However, it doesn't just happen to hauler bots, so I'm not sure about it.

I'm not getting any actual errors related to your mod, so don't have a log file to provide. But I'll be glad to add any files upon request.

Last but not least, if any other user is having this issue, please let me know. I can't find any info on it or what might be causing it. My mod list isn't huge, and mostly consists of the more popular QoL mods, so I'm trying to figure out of this is just me, new DLC bug, a mod, or maybe even just an unexplained feature.

Thank you!

I just saw in your gif on the mod page that you have the vanometric power cells from SOS2 as well. I've suspected that mod could be causing this issue, too, since they have their own heap of bugs with 1.4 and Biotech. So any insight regarding that would be appreciated as well.

Found the issue and edited my post. Feel free to delete the post now or leave it up for others for a while. Thanks!

No problem. Just love to see it when people actually attempt to research issues they find.
