Suggestions
Maybe you want to suggest something about existing features, or maybe you want something added. Don't forget that concept of that mod is to make pawns smarter, or what makes sense in general (and it's a minor change).

I have a suggestion i don't think anyone has done. Make these idiots simply go outside and pick a piece of edible fruit when starving... instead of well, you know, starving...
Could you prevent colonists from automatically picking up and equipping damaged apparel that will give them a mood penalty? I hate having to follow them to the stockpile, wait for them to drop the item, then forbid it. :steamsalty:

You prevent colonists from equipping damaged apparel simply by setting a minimum durability threshold (I usually set mine to 55%, just to give some leeway, since the mood hit is at <50%) in the outfit settings. They won't automatically equip it, and they'll remove any they happen to have on when you set that setting (or when their existing gear drops under that threshold).

Doesn't work for me. I have the minimum set to 51%, and they'll keep wearing it to 49 and beyond. If I manually tell them to drop it, I inevitably discover a few minutes later that they've picked it back up and re-equipped it.

Are you sure they're set to use that gear set? It matters which one they are assigned to. You can check that in the Assignments table (the one that also shows drug policy). The one they are assigned to has to be the one that's set at minimum 51%.

Btw, wanted to pop back in and say I noticed you added this, and much much appreciated for doing so! It's super helpful. Been able to turn off cleaning in all the rooms where it just doesn't matter at all.

Would be awesome if pawns would change clothes to those better fitting the season instead of getting heatstroke from wearing a full set of heavy fur clothes in the middle of summer when i have cooler clothes accessible ...

There are better suited mods for this. Try checking "outfitted" mod, though I can't tell if they do seasonal preferences. Anyways, it's better to ask those authors, because their mod actually works around this stuff.

@avil thank you so much for the mod. I hope many of these features were vanilla.

Can you make an options so pawns don't carry food in their inventory?

it's a common sense really, If pawn don't like to eat without a table, then they should not carry food in their inventory to eat later, which would make them eat without a table.

I use several mods that add alien race that has BIG stomach. Food management is quite tedious because they tend to carry more than 10 simple/fine/lavish meals in their inventory.

Of course they should still be able to carry some food for caravaning and taming/training animals.

Once again, thank you for the wonderful mod.

Note: I know there's a mod called No Carried Food that does what I want but sadly it doesn't work alongside Common Sense. In that mod page it said that whichever comes last in the load order will control meal grabbing behavior, but in fact, even when I put no carried food after common sense, pawn will still carry food in their inventory (Tested with only Harmony, Common Sense and No Carried Food as the only actives mod).

Sounds fair. I'll check it out.

Wondering if there's a way to keep pawns from doing tasks they're not able to do.

I have a pawn in my game who is incapable of Plant work. Can't grow, can't harvest, etc.

But she *can* Construct. And if she wants to construct something on a tile with a tree in it, she will try to cut down the tree first to get it out of the way, and she will waste a whole in-game day trying to cut down that one tree. So I have to tediously micromanage her to help her spend her time more productively.

Would be nice if she could just leave the tree-cutting to someone else.

Or even just tasks they're not assigned. The same thing happens with mining, if you place a construction project over top of minable rock, your constructors will race over and start mining the rock. Ever. So. Slowly. Be nice if the mining and cutting tasks assigned as part of a construction job were done by people actually assigned to mining and cutting instead. >.>

Suggestion: Add an option to encourage pawns to haul items that are outside and deteriorating or rotting before hauling anything else.

Does it work with Common Sense? Also it doesn't appear to be updated for 1.3, and hasn't been updated in about a year.
