I'm curious though, what does the mod settings mean when referring to "empathy changes"? Does this affect the mood debuffs from things like harvesting organs? Or is it referring to the part in the description where empathetic pawns can give others a second chance?
Thanks!
If blocking me makes you feel better then whatever. Not gonna beg to have it changed, but just know that it was pointless. It also makes you look pretty petty. As if you expect everyone to mindlessly worship you and/or defend you cause you made a steam mod OR ELSE! You owe us nothing, and we owe you nothing. It goes both ways. Cya.
Don't worry Alu it's not just you. The guy IS very petty. Not sure why he posted a feedback page when people who try to give him feedback in the comments have them deleted.
Might I suggest not being an arrogant narcissist? That counts as feedback, right?
Now, to @⎛⎝Alu⎠⎞...
When I was checking this page for updates every so often I always noticed your comments. Mainly because they were extremely demanding and self-centered, about how the modmaker was almost "OBLIGED" to update this mod because it's lack was taking away enjoyment from a game that YOU paid for. Never mind that no one is paying the mod maker and therefore he has no obligation to do anything.
Ignoring that mind-numbingly dumb logic, who cares what he does in his free time? Even if he has all the time in the world and chooses to spend it playing Minecraft Fortnite Royale or some ♥♥♥♥, that's none of your business, nor would not working on the mod in such a case make him "lazy" or "entitled". He has literally zero obligation to work on it. I'm sure he works on it for fun or for the community, and definitely not to satisfy your inane demands.
He's also in full right to delete comments, since from what I've seen this page got a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of toxic comments from people who were salty the mod wasn't updated yet. If I was him, I'd delete any comment that hinted of toxicity after a certain point, I'd be so sick of it.
Let's instead just be thankful there are people who helpfully contribute to the community, i.e. modmakers.
@The World-Mule, thanks for the mod. I think it looks great in its current form.
another thing, maybe an addition for prepare carefully that lets you re-roll a pawns background adulthood and childhood based on his psyche stats, and his traits too. like, a pawn that isnt very competetive wont be a bandit leader or mercenary leader or any of that, and a pawn that is kind or open-minded wont be an assasin, and a pawn that is very naive wont have backgrounds that give high intelligence, etc.
i like this mod a lot, it adds a lot of background stats for pawns akin to the complexity of dwarf fortress, but similar to dwarf fortress, i just wish it mattered more, practically. i know it does matter with the current psychology version, with pawns relations and all that, but i just wish it mattered more.
Thanks!! I'll do this :D
Another thing - I have a mod that shows the word bubbles of colonists, and I ... kind of miss the silly dialogue that would happen in vanilla. For example, "Vazquez tried to romance Lynch by making an observation about fighting caterpillars." I feel like the dialogue in this mod is a little more generic. I like the whole thing about how colonists befriend each other & their psyches, but I do miss the silly dialogue - is there a way to kinda merge those?
Alright thanks for answering that question :)
