@Cat6277 hell no this version has been outdated for 6 years XD there is currently a patched version for 1.5 that's been approved by the OG mod creator though, just search Psychology 1.5 in the workshop. Naturally it's got some issues that come with age but it should mostly work fine.

Appreciate you creating this mod. Not only adds depth, but needed flavor. I've noticed a few things are a bit janky since the Biotech release. @Zorg - I get what you're saying, and while I vehemently disagree with you on some of the points you mentioned, I was mainly concerned with Hastelloy's comment conflating homosexuality with psychological illness - to which I must refute one of your points; the APA has written extensively about the topic, and I genuinely urge you to take a look through their publications; and they wholeheartedly conclude that homosexuality isn't a psychological illness.

But I digress - I was explicitly commenting on Hastelloy. Not whatever colony he's running.
Run your colony however you want and use/create whatever mods you like, but homosexuality shouldn't be considered a mental illness here in real life.

I don't know how the ideology system in the backend handles custom precepts, but I would obviously weight randomly generated ideologies to usually follow "default" morality, which would mean that most random pawns you encounter would be reasonable on most things. You can build an army of slaver white-supremacist homophobes, but most random pawns will react to that just like most people IRL would.
Open it all up to player choice.
You would also have the option to create a fanatically homophillic/heterophobic colony that persecutes straight pawns. Ideology was the best DLC because it allows the player to make their own decisions about what sort of colony they want to be running. This principle should be expanded further than even Tynan was willing to go.

@Aigis "psychological illness" is so poorly defined that whether or not something is a psychological illness is pretty much down to one's political persuasion.

In terms of Homosexuality, it is a psychological phenomenon, and therefore could be changed by psychoactive procedures. The beauty of rimworld to me is the utter moral ambiguity of it all. For me, a game where you can run a band of cannibal raiders is not a game that should have any issues with allowing the player to run a homophobic colony. Craft your colony and ideoligeon to match what you want, and let others do the same.

Someday, I will probably make a "morality expanded" mod or something like that, which enables the player to do all sorts of heinous or controversial things, and moves all these moral decisions into the ideology system.

This game allows slavery, why shouldn't it allow homophobia?

Had to kick this mod from my list. Most of the stuff isn't bad although you hardly feel it contributing to the game, but some effects like codependent are really insane. I have a character who just stacks -25's with a cool down of 50 days for failing his marriage proposals to random strangers. Either make them smart enough to handle their emotions, like building a relationship before trying to get into there bed, or don't. Thematically entertaining, functionally trash.

Hello, I looked everywhere and didn't find a solution, but there is a thing that I think worth to mention: pawns need to notice, then you revive their loved ones, or then you save once lost colonist. Thank you!

Whenever i add this mod it freezes my pawns and any other character meaning, Animals Pawns Npcs even transport pods stop moving just freeze, i do press the play button, everything just stops except for the other things like trees and effects.

i cant tell and ive had this mod for a long time, does it change the base game coded biases for males to prefer young females, females to prefer older males, and males to be more likely to initiate romance? i noticed in my game it doesnt seem that way any more, things seem more equal now, but i'd like to actually know, because i greatly prefer it to be equal!

How do i disable the mayor portion of this? The guy that got elected has an inability to perform social (never should have gotten elected) and now everyone is getting huge mood debuffs while visting with him instead of working...

the multiple flings thing is an issue... the -15 ex-lover is spreading through colony like a plague :) out of 29 colonists, 16 have -15 on someone due to being their ex and few has -15 to few people... one girl has 6 ex-lovers... -15 opinion of all of them... this is getting ridiculous :D

The last update to this mod was almost two years ago, I wouldn't hold my breath and just use the unofficial version.
