This is another one for carrier style ships that would sit mostly stationary while mining ships were working.

This could potentially be done by "recording" the starting position and orientation of the mother ship at the point where a miner records its home location.... then when miners return to dock they could "request alignment" from the mothership via antenna/PAM-controller which would cause your script to use a remote control block on the mothership to realign/position the ship precisely as it was when the home location of the miner was recorded, allowing the miner to dock correctly.

If you added a couple of timer triggers (before and after realignment) this could be used in conjunction with solar alignment scripts to maintain solar power during mining operations.
