PAM Unable to control ship in light gravity (excessive thrust?)
Have a long, but extremely stable ship. Mining in 0.3g conditions. The thrust in these conditions when empty is easily managed manually, but whenever I'm in gravity it just falls and raises the ship by about 1m amplitude repeatedly, like there is a control loop stability issue. I'm not sure if PAM is unable to deal with the amount of thrust, it seems to activate all available thrusters in the up direction at once. Perhaps there is a minimum override limit or setting?

Set half the thrusters to a group and turned them off, PAM is working stably now. Suggest you detect an unstable condition and reduce the number of thrusters used in the direction of instability (ie gravity) until stability is achieved. This can be remembered per job or in relation to vehicle mass.

I think the issue may be that NPC crew mod is used, NPC crew adds 300% to thrust which might not be detectable by PAM. Adding a 'gain adjustment' loop like this, simple step forward and back logic, would provide robustness. Could make it off by default and an advanced option.

Hmmmm, removed the NPC crew bonus and half thrusters does not totally eliminate the instability, just increases the period dramatically.

I see PAM is reporting it is stuck while doing these behaviors, even though it is not stuck on voxels.

Still unable to determine cause or find a solution on this one. Ship is not stuck, but in light gravity it won't function.
