Not sure how those two mods in particular are giving you issues, I have Arrest Here! in my modlist myself and have no issues with the research menu. But glad you have at least some things to help with that.
Possibly, however testing this mod with Anomaly disabled the issue still persists.
For this to work you need to use the Dub's variant research menu. It does not work for the default menu. Essentially say you wanted to queue "Royal Apparel" but you don't have "Noble Apparel", you can go over to Dub's research menu, hold shift and then left click on "Royal Apparel" (as it appears on the left) and it will queue every prerequisite until "Royal Apparel" is complete, can also be done to just quickly begin research on one or assign multiple projects instead of having to click twice per project.
If you prefer the default menu but still want to queue (other than trying to find a compatible mod that adds queuing) you can simply hold Ctrl + left click on the research tab and it will open the Dub's version, instead of having to set Dub's menu as the default.
