As for the unsullied, you can buy them from a travelling merchant that shows up randomly in taverns. Or you could become a vassal of Qohor and recruit them through any castles you own
The Invasion happened around day 300 for me. It came out of nowhere.
Did you joined any faction even temprary for quests or you stayed away? I would like to figure..
The Reach has become a powerhouse and owns most of westeros and many other Kingdoms have been destroyed
Only way I've seen the Unsullied has been from recruiting them from defeated armies that had them as prisoners, also when I freed them as they were prisoners in places that I conquered.
