Im pretty sure the Targaryen invasion is not quest based anymore, it will happen on a random or set date, whcih I dont remmember.

As for the unsullied, you can buy them from a travelling merchant that shows up randomly in taverns. Or you could become a vassal of Qohor and recruit them through any castles you own

Look for Grazmak Mo Senko in taverns he sells Unsullied.

The Invasion happened around day 300 for me. It came out of nowhere.

Grazmak is normally in the southern taverns of Essos

Mine also came out of nowhere. Now does anyone know if you can recruit targaryen troops? the towns they take over just allow you to recruit the native troops of those villages.

Hmm, interesting. I have to admit I did nto palyed version 6 long as I was discouraged by new issues and broken things it brough, but spent hell lot of time in 4 and 5 (way over day 500 maybe over 700 in one of game) and never triggered wildling or tragaryen invasion..

Did you joined any faction even temprary for quests or you stayed away? I would like to figure..

The Invation just startet whit me and it is now day 221

I think the only option to gain a steady supply of Targaryen troops is when you join their faction, get a castle and go on Manage this castle- Recruit some troops- increase amount x

Day 264 still nothing.

Get a castle, become a vassal of qohor and get that tavern dude and invite hime over for a slugfest of training and boom you can get unsullied from him and training troops at said castle/ town

This mod isn’t following the show it’s following the books and Daenerys hasn’t invaded yet in the books, she hasn’t even taken Meereen yet I don’t think

She took Meereen in the Books but Yunkie (rip spelling) rebelled and took over Astapor before attacking Meereen itself.

I am Playing the Mod now, does anyone now if in 8.0 there still is a invasion or if the merchant for the unsulliet is stil somewhere. I looked so long for him but cant find it. I am at day 212

as of writing this the targ invasion happened at day 221

Wasn't much of an invasion in my game, they got destroyed and didn't last long and didn't make any impact.

The Reach has become a powerhouse and owns most of westeros and many other Kingdoms have been destroyed

Only way I've seen the Unsullied has been from recruiting them from defeated armies that had them as prisoners, also when I freed them as they were prisoners in places that I conquered.
