Description: So I've been doing a stealth scenario where the USS Virginia will deliver a single manned diver to the AO and found an issue there it made my escape really hard. Heres how it went;
1* The submarine was on 20m depth then 2* got into DDS with a diving suit ready 3* I opened the hatch and got out but 4* I tried closing the hatch but I can't so 5* I tried to get into it can't so I 6* Went to my mission, then after finishing/testing my mission 7* I tried to go back into DDS but I can't so I 8* ordered the driver of the submarine (that I ordered to stop till I command him to move again) to move a bit further away from the AO so I won't get detected then 9* I entered the sub while its submerged "Which surprised me because it says "DDS is the only way to enter & exit a submarine while it's submerged"" and 10* tried getting into the DDS to check the problem but I can't so 11* I tried resurfaced the sub and finally, the "Get into DDS" appeared and 12* got into it then closed the hatch so I gained interest on testing this bug further so 13* I tried submerging the sub again on 20m and 14* tried getting out of the DDS with hatch close but can't "Obviously yes its not a bug" so I tried the same procedure if I will still enter the DDS while submerged and the hatch is left opened, sadly...did the same procedures on number (10). that all.

Edit: I confirmed that I have read the User Manual
Tried getting out with DDS?
Dry Deck Shelter, its the only way to get out of the sub while it's submerged.
Read user manual.
*UGM Harpoon missiles homes to submerged submarines*
So I made another scenario, a PVE with another sub, I'm using USS Virginia while the enemy is using Yasen-Class, so he shooted like 5+ harpoon missiles that approaches the target HIGH and it didn't detected the submerged sub, which is a good thing.
I restarted the mission multiple times because it was fun battling PVE sub to sub.
Now I observed that harpoons that approaches their target on SEA-SKIM detects the SUBMERGED submarines and terminals them with pop-up & sea-skim, but did not killed the submarine, but still a bad thing for multiplayer because everyone will know that there's a submarine on that grid.
Observations:
1) enemy harpoons fired: 7
2) enemy harpoons that detected submerged subs while on sea skim: 2 of 2
3) enemy harpoons that detected submerged subs while on high approach: 0 of 5
Is this still a problem or no?
-I have read the user manual
-I know that the harpoons should not detect submerged subs, but it still did. even tho after update.
were you inside an AI group but not leader of the group?
I am in the AI group, and also the leader of them, that's how I commanded the AI to stop still I command him to move.
Edit:
I tried it now alone, it still doesn't work, any suggestions?
2nd Edit:
I also think there's 2 bugs on this single thread:
1) you can get inside a submerged submarine without using DDS.
2) DDS is bugged as bugged as I explained before.
3rd Edit:
I have a conclusion, whenever the DDS's hatch is opened, you cannot get in it when you're outside the submarine whether it's surfaced or submerged, you can only access inside the submarine.
edit: infiSTAR has a list of allowedIDDs in case that makes any sense to you folks.
Here is TFAR info from TS: https://i.imgur.com/0ob7K4u.jpg
Here is a video testing with two NATO subs, one AAF and one CSAT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Cxh_UkWnjM&feature=youtu.be
I think the vanilla SDV minisub works the way I would expect sub radios to, only when surfaced or at periscope depth. Maybe see if theres some kind of profile for it that could be used on these subs?
