I have notice that too and the intention is to be able to place it again. I will check it out, for next update. Idk what you can't comments on main section. I think it's the first time you are commenting. Try it again later.
Yes I use the night vision. but the your googles' night vision is better turns night into day hehehe. tyty for the mods btw
A mine for each story ark might not be a bad thing. You have a Stone Mine (Island) requires basic mats to make. A Sandstone Mine (SE) requiring Sand and Clay as part of it. And an Aberrent Mine, requiring green crystals to build. Just a thought.
Also, a Divers Backpack would be nice to see as well. Increases oxygen and swim speed perhaps. Can act as an early alternative to SCUBA.
I would suggest to move the "location hud" i.e. long/lat up and add "weather info". Then lower the "target dino hud" and underneath that the "wild dino stats". Location hud info i.e. coordinates is connected to the location info on top right when you press H to see time, day, name of location, and temp. The dino target info is connected to wild stats. imho should make it easier to see all info a survivor needs when doing activities related to each information. The weather info we mostly miss when it shows up in the middle when your looking for tames or doing stuff.
would look something like this:
Latitude: 50
Longtitude: 50
Weather info (persistent weather info.)
Spino
Level:50 Genre:Male
Life:100% Food:100%
Topidity:0% Taming:0%
Wild Stats Tamed
------ -------- ---------
------ -------- ---------
etc etc etc
notes on a bug: The shift+n is not working atm to show and hide the reticle. when using the google night vision mode shift+alt+n will turn on night vision but hides the reticle. The melee damage is not showing correctly i.e. argent with melee damge of 478% in the inventory window. Ocular implant shows 3,784.
Would be nice to be able to convert pearls to black pearls.
If you could add A+ in the names of the engrams and items should make it easier for ppl. with alot of mods, to be able to track which items belong to this mod.
Yes, nice idea. But I don't know what resources can be pulled from SE and aberration mines? same as the stone mine? I mean. Just the crafting resources are changed. Maybe SE can pull oil, but it will be no accurate. Just thinking.
Nice tips.
The one thing I don't understand it's the converted from pearls to black pearls. You mean silica pearls to black pearls? What can be the recipe?
Another idea came to me when messing around with the tek stuff: I noticed that you can not add a glider to a TEK chestpiece, neither the ones from your mod nor the vanilla one.
I honestly would love to have a glide feature on the tek armor that does not burn through element every time I wanna go in a straight line.
Also gliding down with tek armor is kind of a no go, at least from what I saw so far.
Would it be possible to actually add another glider tier later down the line which is unlocked when you got both the glider and the tek chest engrams and that looks a bit more TEK-ey (fitting the TEK armor) without the jetpack function?
Maybe instead of the jetpack it could have a special feature for the TEK armor which complements the armors built in jetpack.
Still thinking about what that could be since I just realized that hover mode is already a thing and I just didn't knew how to activate it...
About the tent, while it's nice that the tent issue was already mentioned and is being fixed (same goes for the ocular implant together with the TEK helmet) however, do you think you could add a bigger tent that actually lets you place structures inside?
I was pretty much thinking about situations where you need a quick base that gives an insulation buff but still wanna use crafting that has to be placed on a foundation/roof floor.
Yes I know you could use the backpack crafting too but that would kind of limit you to the mortar and pestle recipes you already added.
Another idea, while incredibly hard to code if not impossible would be a shoe attachment that uses charge or element to magnetize your boots and allow you to walk on certain structures, pretty sure that would be impossible though.
Last thing for now, are you planning to do anything with the zipline motor attachment in the future?
There would be some fun little things you could do with that.
I was actually thinking about something like giving it a grappling hook like function that can lower you slowly instead of dropping down instantly, maybe use the unused A and D keys on a zipline for up and down while W and S are still used for regular motor movement.
One could take that whole premise one step further by allowing you to grapple onto ziplines from the ground with a mechanic like a ravager does by aiming at a zipline and either pressing E, Jump, doing a special emote or whatever else would be fitting.
Config options could include disabling the grapple function, adjusting it's range, disabling grappling onto natural vines since they aren't as strong as man made ziplines etc.
Yeah I know the last one seems just as complicated to implement as the one before it, but seeing how ARK already has both functions in place and the only thing needed would be to combine them, I guess that it seems easier than the magnetic boots thing...
Awesome! This is what I'm looking for. New ideas. Bravo! You also have the same line of vision as me.
I have investigated tek shirt but I didn't see the activation behaviour. I was thinkin of changing to Shift+Jump, but I will try that way.
I have thinking of a glider with tek "looks" but not attached to tek armor. So it's a nice addittion.
I have a friend that already told me about the floor on the tent. I have tried but not succesfully sadly. But I can keep trying.
About the shoes: It's a nice idea. But you mean likes mountains or hills? I cannot think about an structure that I want to walk over, lol.
I have to be honest with you: I don't have Aberration DLC. Originally the jetpack was on the pants but then I changed to the shirt. And the idea of fuel with gasoline I took it from the zipline.
So, I really needs help with this feature. Maybe I can make a testing zipline and you can try it. Adjust from that point.
Keep the ideas!
