probably a little silly of a suggestion but have you thought about making a vampire republic?

since the vampire world has it's own aristocracy filled with politicians and moneymakers i feel their would be some form ventrue smuggling ring of sorts

i did try messing around with the console commands to make a vampire republic but because of the dlc's interface it ♥♥♥♥♥ with the decisions and the actions *like hunt mortal or drain prisoner* (hence why i didnt just edit my game and continue on my merry way) anyway uh...i'll just leave this here *shuffles away awkwardly*

We have experimented with republic governments and the mod. We like it very much. Five permanent families in a city very much feels like Vampire: the Masquerade to us. It makes a very interesting Primogen council.

The trouble is, succession doesn't work well for female vampires.

Hello ! I played some vampires and here are my suggestions, essentially for disciplines. I like when they add options, so i tried to keep this aspect. I didn't try all disciplines, but i will do that more later =)

- Animalism : Quell the Beast (3) : You can remove the trait "Wight" on an other vampire
Drawing out the Beast (5) : You can add the trait "Wight" to an other character or remove the trait to yourself

- Vicissitude : Malleable Visage (1) : I don't know if it's easy or not to encode, but maybe the capacity to change the face of our character with the appearance editor.
Fleshcraft (2) : Like Malleable Visage but on others characters.
Bonecraft (3) : You can add / remove few physics traits like Attractive / Ugly / Clybfooted / Dwarf / Harelip / Hunchback.

- Presence : Dread gaze (2) : You can inflict the trait Craven to an other character (maybe just humans ?)
Majesty (5) : Like Celerity, Potence or Vigor, add an option to increase personnal combat.

I'm not entirely sure if this is possible or not, but I would suggest changing the building names for the different creatures. I tried playing Changelings and noticed I was still building "Havens."

I'd personally suggest changing it to Freeholds for the Fae. Not sure what Werewolves or Mages might use, since I haven't bought World of Darkness material for them. I'm assuming Cairnes for werewolves, but not 100% sure on that.

GrandMajora, if we can't change the names for havens for Changeling/Fae, we can certainly create a different building line for them. We already have some differences between werewolves and vampires.

I have yet to try playing a wolf or mage.

I wasn't even sure Fae were going to be possible, since trying to create a custom leader doesn't seem to function properly right now. But I just clicked the War of Courts bookmark, clicked a random leader and started the game. About 3 days in, my human leader just keeled over and was replaced by an Unseelie Satyr.

:D

Hmmm. Your human probalby shouldn't have been killed, but rather been transformed. Hmmm...

I'm not mad about it, since a satyr is actually what I wanted them to be. <3

actually that always seems to happen to my characters too if they dont have one of the mod traits such as human vampire etc

they die and get ressurected as something else (that ended my game once because i forgot to use trait type vampire in ruler designer :P)

Would it be possible to have the mod work with the Some What More Historic map mod?
i feel like it would do well with the smaller counties to try and portray 1 city princedoms like in the lore

We are planning a new map.

Any idea how long until it can be implemented?
Sparc  [developer] May 5, 2018 @ 2:22pm
We have an update coming around May 10th. The new map will be developed for the update after that. So, maybe a couple of months.

Also, this mod should work with other map mods. We use vanilla cultures right now to create the supernatural religions for provinces and their supernatural rulers.

I have another suggestion concering diablerie. i think that if you want to diablerise vampires that are not in torpor you should have to duel them so it isint so easy to to just imprison a high gen vampire and immediatly jump up several generations.
