What - if anything - affects operating the resource console.
I saw that the resource console has an option to limit it to crafters of a min/max skill threshold. This confused me as I had earlier noticed that it provides research experience rather than crafting experience to the operator. So I tried to figure out which skill was governing the work order. Top notch researcher, top notch crafter, and mildly brain damaged low skill red shirt all seemed to produce synthamide, synthelene, and chemfuel at the same rates. (I don't have neutramine/hyperweave unlocked yet to try them)

So the topic question - what, if anything, affects the outcomes from operating the resource console? Can I just make a joywire/circadian half-cycler zombie to work the console without loss, or am I missing something?

(and I did check the wiki/searched around on reddit, all I could find was a fairly old post talking about minimum crafting skill for synthamide but that no longer seemed to hold true from my tests)

the skill level doesn't change how fast the machines run, its a crafting job with research as the skill which is the same as rimworlds standard fuel production job, but its mainly just a requirement to have a person that can craft stand at the console, i was thinking about doing breakdown stuff based on the pawns skill but i never got around to it
