Then I try to load a scenario script spawning map tiles and monsters right, but doesn't create "start" and "open" buttons so I can't open doors to advance.
It also shows an error
For some reason I get this error only then I am the host, then someone else hosting it works alright.
Any suggestions?
Here [dropmeafile.com]
TS_Save_14 is fresh one and TS_Save_15 is an error one.
i dont find any error... i can setup a scenario with both files...
i am not sure what the error is on your end... did you get any error msg befor that happen? at start?
First of all, thanks for the work you put into this :)
My friend is having the same issue and I have done some testing on it.
Is not save related, since me and another friend can load the save we have and we dont get the error. Besides, he is having the error even starting a fresh game (in V2). He tries loading any scenario, the error with the nil appears, then there are no doors to click the open roon script and sometimes obstacles are not load .
He also tried reinstaling both TTS and the mod but it didnt work.
We got a similar error (in function "reveal" in this case, but also having problems with a nil comparison) and it was caused by my, because I tuped by mistake a character in the name of one of my hability cards (the ones that decide initiative). I deleted the extra character and I didnt have that error again. Maybe there is a "tiped by error" character somewhere in other element Name?
and if so, how to find it?
Thanks!
the second one... there should not be some thing like this from our hand.... and searching for that is also not that easy because you have to look at every item on the table... or you can parse the save file that is saved in json
I read all the post from the bug reports. What I am reporting is the same error text that Memeral and arodillap reported (the error in the spawnMapTiles) .
My friend has been trying for the last 10 minutes and he gets like a 60% success chance. When the first door is created, the rest of the scenario may or may not load again, which is really a pain, becuase its easy to reload the map when the mission is starting, but more complicated to do so when you are in the middle of the scenario...
I got a picture in case you wanted, but i dont think it provides any more info....
This is a long shot, but I was looking through the code and was curious if the above errors may be caused due to some of the functions not having an If statement in place to handle the exception if a GUID or something is not available at the time of call. This just poking at straws, as I have been trying to replicate the error out of curiosity and have had no luck.
scenario 1 message error all bandit guard are on the table when you open all doors
scenario 2 all living corpse are on the table when you open all doors
etc
Look like there is a limit for each monster whith a party >2
This was absent pre 26/03 update
the only different between 2 and 4 player is not the limit but the amount of spawned enemies...
you have less bandits out when you open all doors with 2 player then with 4 player
look at the scenario book and the rulebook
I also have this problem, but when i send save file to my friend everything is OK. That will be OK if he have good upload speed, but that is not case, and we have big lag and then is game unplayable.
So, what to do???
