@Crazy
This happens now and then .. i am not fully sure why... probably a timing issue with loading times.
you can work around by deleting the area with the delete function and then start the setup again...
maybe i get some time to work it out

@Kijan
Thank you guys for all this work, this mod is astounding! My friend and I are both receiving the "attempt to index a nil value" nearly every time we run the Scenario Setup, which seems to cause monsters to not spawn.

Any upcoming fix or recommendations?

I have the same problem with Bandits. I get the nil value error. The standees are not the right level and after I delete everything I can no longer bring up any more monsters. Am I missing an importan value somehwere? What should be done before calling a scenario? I get one bandit, but it's level is wrong compared to the party sheet level.

Update: Not sure if this is related, but I changed to launch TTS in Direct X 11 mode and we have not had the issue since then. It was happening about every other scenario before, and now we've loaded up about 8 in a row with no issues after the DX11 switch. @Kijan @Bodoc

Hope that information helps debug

Unlockable character (Moon) starts with wrong starting Hit Points.

Im new to this game and I am on S2. Scenario page forthis scenario states each player should receive 3 curse cars to their atk mod deck. Ive checked their hands and they're not there and there are only 10 player curse cards in the deck. Im playing a 4 person party so I need 12 cards. Am I missing something here?

Also there is something wrong with the grid in s2. I know about changing the grid as you stated but that is only good in the first room. The second room the grid is so off that the characters cant even stand up in the door way and the first hexes are in the middle of the first tables.

There are only 10 player curse cards. 2 players will only get 2 cards for a 4 player party. Check the FAQ in BGG. TTS won't deal them to the players, you need to grab them from the deck on the top right of the game play area. You need to change the grid to match each scenario. They are not all the same.

try flipping the grid's horizontal/vertical axis

I'm not sure if this is actually a bug, or intended, but after quite a few scenarios, we finally realized that the monster decks don't shuffle when they are put out during autosetup, so each monster always performs the same actions in the same order until the deck is shuffled for the first time. Obviously, we are perfectly capable of shuffling all the monster decks before starting each scenario, but sometimes we forget. I'm guessing a lot of people aren't shuffling, and haven't noticed this.

We know to shuffle and just lived with it. Got into the habbit of pressing R on most decks anyway, monster modifier, player modifiers, monster ability cards etc. Yeah, it'd be nice for them to auto-shuffle, but at this point we'll shuffle them even if it does get fixed. :P

NVM, it worked when I reload them and it's now back to normal.

Hey everyone, I've watched the video, everything is amazing. I'm running into one issue right now and cant figure out how to solve: When I setup the player mats after filling out the party sheet, the character only has the level one hit points. I can not figure out how to add hit point to the character. The monsters come up with the proper level hit points, but the player tokens show the level 1 hit points. Any pointers?

click the HP bar once or twice then you will have the option to add HP to the HP bar

Sorry for my poor English in advance.

Then I try to load a scenario script spawning map tiles and monsters right, but doesn't create "start" and "open" buttons so I can't open doors to advance.

It also shows an error
Error in Script (Gloomhaven Scenario Full Setup - 8d2074) function, <startLuaCoroutine/spawnMapTiles>:cunk_3:(43996,25-27): attempt to index a nil value"

For some reason I get this error only then I am a host, then someone else hosting it works alright.

Any suggestions?
