iceland doesn't really declare independance, it's like 1941 and they CAN, they have the power, but they just aren't

For some reason the AI rarely declares independance outside of a focus that specifically does it, this is true for all AI, not just Iceland. Set South Africa on the path to independance, then watch them sit there refusing to either A) take the focus that starts the civil war, or B) Not use their political power to become free. Sadly, I do not control this. I am fairly certain Paradox is aware of this, and I am hoping it will be fixed in the upcoming patch. (1.5)

With that said, if Historical Focuses are ON, the AI will NOT take the focus to break from Denmark before 6/15/1943 in order to keep with history.

Can you upload a version that doesent touch techtree names or icons for compatibility.

That is some very specific compatibility. I can't see myself uploading a new version for that. You are free to edit the files yourself however. If you want to upload a version like that feel free, just make sure you point back here.

Can you put general potrait for Finland (even if they have the same potrait)?

There are portraits for the generals in Finland. Are you running any other mods that might be conflicting?

This is a small thing but would you mind adding descriptions to the focuses and events?

There should be. Are they missing for you?

Can you make the democratic leaders the vanilla game leaders since all democratic leaders were historically correct.

Just use the unform reskin pack by Skyllio, it includes all relevant countries to this mod but Iceland i believe and a few more at that.

Hey! Nice mod, great work!
After seeing some of the comments about localization problems, I decided to go through your code. I have some notes that can make your mod compatible with a lot of other mods.

How to fix localization issues when using other mods:
If you rename the localization files to something along the lines of "sca_parties_l_english.yml" and then remove all the loaclization you do not use.
Then you will not overwrite the original file, but the localization will still be recognized by the game, and it will give other mods the opportunity to change localization as well.

I simply made them non-aligned democracies. They should still all be historically accurate. The only difference is that the democratic side is with the people who were more likely to take a more aggressive pro-britain, anti-germany stance.
