The first time this happened, all the guest players continued to see the buttons for faction selection in their play area when they moved their mouse over their player card. The button icon/llabel would appear when moused over but would not do anything when clicked, and the images from the faction selection card were not there. The host was not able to see these. Moving the technology deck around would also move these buttons, and deleting one of the buttons would also delete the tech deck.
The second time this happened, the buttons for the multi-roller appeared on the Custodians token. Again, the host was not able to see this, and the buttons did not do anything when clicked. However, the numbers from the multi-roller did appear on the custodians token (unlike the previous example, where the faction pictures did not appear and only the button icon/label displayed when moused over).
Edit: I found a solution, don't absentmindedly select pink as a player color when setting up the game. Doing so breaks that player's zone.
