General Rimworld Community Remarks o7
Hello,

TLDR,community individuals deserve recognition for how passionate they are.
we should capitalize on that and in celebration of our collective passion for who make gaming experiences more positive, by creating a tighter more intentional framework for community to just appreciate the love and dedication and just depth we all have as cultured rim worldas.

I am writing today in honor of an individual who has been a part of the modding, steam, and rimworld community in huge ways.

I believe that there's a reason you care. why I care.

I would like to present the idea that we immortalize our friend by committing to:
> bringing together the people who play this game and enjoy it, to talk about the game in structured ways, to take each other through stories we have experienced. to spread our passion for the game and story-telling in general. I have never made a cannibal army. but I want to meet the person who did. and I want to know what it felt like lol.

In this way, I believe that the love our friend put in to the game that we have so much passion for, keeps his heart living on and bringing the thing we all wanted all along, just a video game, some friends, and a wild wacky world where things go exactly how they're meant to, not how you planned. I think we can all find solace in that. and If you are having a rough time, I want to say..

I had cancer last year. Surgeries. Got lucky. Found cancer in my kidney, they surgically removed stones, months of prep, surgery was great and amazing. Lots of pain. I quit cigarettes 2 weeks ago on the 4th of july. after about 15 years. It's crazy.

I only was so lucky, because someone I care about noticed something that needed attention and didn't allow me to write it off. I think that too many people are so amazing and have passion that can infect the world, they just need permission.

I'd like to propose the idea to everyone, and hear discussion about how everyone feels about the notion of having a tighter, more welcoming, inviting community built around just the passion we all have, and the love of storytelling.

I truly wish the best for the family of our lost friend. I didn't know him but I used a lot of the mods he touched. I personally am great with coding but I just dont even begin to understand how to do mods or release, it's a lot of work. A lot of work that was for us, not for him/her.

my prayers are with our brother, and his family. loss hits us all, especially in the winter when the boomalope raid, and you manage to kill one but they light you on fire so you are laying in the snow, on fire from the explosion and everyone else is incapacitated so we wait.
We wait.. and we reflect upon how Tyrus didn't make it through the winter. he was the weakest of us. The least useful. We were very hungry, and the potatos weren't growing again until the spring. We shouldn't have done it... and as I lay here, in the ice and snow, on fire, realizing that I never had to eat my friend to survive the winter, and that I will never taste the fruits of my labor, I manage to regain consciousness just long enough to stumble up toward the cabin but the cold overwhelmed me.
Perhaps knowing each other's stories will give more people the attention and love that we need to keep fighting when it's hard, and to have a reason to keep on top of our health no matter what.

Apologies if i'm disorganized, I am very autistic in general.
Thank you for anyone who decided to read through all the way, and I look forward to seeing your replies even if it just flames me off the platform, genuinely :) <3 have an awesome weekend, hug your loved ones. for real. tell them what you feel. tomorrow is never promised. but today is. so lets get it!
