Nature's Pretty Sweet
What's Wrong With My Pet Lava Rock?
Among a lot of other cool features this mod has, for some reason it was the volcanic biomes and the pet lava rocks that really sold it to me.

But the pet lava rocks always seem to get perpetually incapacitated. I'm not seeing any readings in his health tab, and the environmental temperature for his location seems to be in the optimal conditions. My colonists will feed him, but he remains incapacitated without explanation. I know its a tiny thing, but I was hoping i could find out if I'm doing something wrong, or if its just a bug.

Also, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the pawns to cool him off and move him around as described.

Heres a screenshot,

It also might be something to do with the ~136 mods I have, but I'm not seeing anything about the plrocks in the debug log, and I haven't seen this reproduced with any other animal pawns. Among the mods I have that affect animals are Animals Logic, EPOE, and the GiddyUp stuff.

Edit: Wrong screenshot, lol

Is he incapacitated? Or just moving really really really slowly?

From the feature list:

"New animals: Fire salamanders and lava pet rocks. Lava pet rocks naturally radiate heat. Very very very slow moving. Once tamed, can be hauled to a room to heat it."

I actually just got some and the same thing happened to mine. They just....suddenly fell over one by one. (I have 3). The room temp should be fine for them, they've been taken good care of, but they just....fell over and won't get back up. :/ I'm quite sad, they are so awesome but they just are perpetually incapacitated. >:
