Undead are expected to eat food in caravan
If you bring undead with you in a caravan (because you have a necromancer) it throws off the expected food consumption. It doesn't throw off the actual food consumption but the numbers become disturbing.

I've noticed this too. I just remove them from the caravan list, check the needs and add food supplies accordingly, and then after the food consumption checks out I add the undead.

That is a good work-around, but it would be nice if the work-around wasn't needed.
