Craft a specific class book?
Is it possible to craft a specific class book if none of your colonists are of that class? I would like to make one of my magically gifted pawns into an arcanist. I think the answer is no, and basically the only way to do this is either buy a book or script from a merchant, or save scum using an unfinished script / book in case I get lucky and random into the class.

Answer is no - you can craft an unfinished book and then have a gifted pawn (or wanderer/wayfarer) write the book to receive a random book. If you create an unfinished arcane tome, you will be able to see what the class is before using it. If you use an uninished torn script then you'll get book of ???
