Version confusion and compatibility?
I started playing this mod after watching some youtuber, and only now, months into my own play though I've noticed I'm lacking the chronomancer class, only to discover the version on steam is an older version (2.3.3.7) that doesn’t contain the chronomancer.

Side note: I'm still playing 1.0 and not on steam, but I get most mods from an online steam downloader, so the thought has crossed my mind that this downloader is extracting the wrong version.

The link in the description points to "older versions" (https://www.moddb.com/mods/tmagic/downloads/). I'm a little confused to say the least as these appear to be newer with more content. Is it something to do with 1.0 vs 1.1, or simply that you no longer use steam to maintain these updates, or that each patch adds it's own features that you can pick and choose from?

Question:
Anyway, main point of the post is to ask how compatible (if at all) are these patches? Can I patch the mod from v2.3.3.7 all the way to v2.4.0.6 or would I have to start a new save?

Cheers,
Steve.

Steam (the real steam) has the latest version. Yes, you should be fine patching from any version to the latest.
ModDB has all versions (including the latest), so if you want to maintain the latest version or return to an older version for whatever reason then you can use modDB for that.

Awesome, thanks for the information, and sorry for the inconvenience. Don't know if you can tell but I'm not a big fan of Steam ;) Though I'll admit it does simplify things.
