Localization
As of a recent update, Cinema now supports localization. This means that the gamemode can be translated to non-English languages easily, and without major code changes! If you're fluent in a non-English language and are interested in contributing translations, please continue reading.

How Can You Help?
Help make Cinema more accessible to an international audience! There are a few ways in which you can help do this.
  • Proofreading existing translations: If you can help ensure that the translations in the gamemode make good sense, and sound stylistically reasonable, it would be appreciated. Likewise, if there are any translations missing for parts of the gamemode, it would be nice to know about.
  • Support for additional languages: Currently supported languages can be viewed on the Github repository[github.com]. More would always be better!

For either case, contributions will be openly accepted. If you're familiar with Git and/or Github, submitting a Pull Request[help.github.com] would be the most appropriate way to contribute. The link to the Github repository can be found in the gamemode description. In the case that you may not be comfortable with Git, please link to the changes you've made at a text uploading service (e.g. http://pastebin.com/).

The original, English localization file may be found here[github.com]. If you're unsure where to go from here, please read the section below.

Technical Details
Translations strings are formatted in a specific manner as follows:
LANG.Key = "String" -- Supporting comment OR LANG.Key = C( Color, " string ", Color, "etc." )
Strings are of the only concern translators should have. These are segments which need to be translated. Some translations may be wrapped in a special format, C(...), indicating special colors to be used in the string.

http://pastebin.com/gQGvavMG There we go, probably some errors, as I was not sure what the context was. If you'd explain me how to implement this in the game, I could test it out :)

You should be able to select the language you've added through the settings in the scoreboard. Alternatively, you can just select the language on the main menu of Garry's Mod. Of course, this is assuming you've already added the file into cinema/gamemode/localization/.

Thanks Joker! I added your translations. However, I removed the clan tag you had in the author description, is that alright with you? You can view it here https://github.com/pixeltailgames/cinema/blob/master/cinema/gamemode/localization/russian.lua
