Rim of Madness - Vampires

Is there any way to make vampires actually use the "rest" bar properly and sleep during the day?
The whole "running out the door, noticing it's day, and running back in towards their bed/coffin, then turning around to run back out the door again" loop that they keep doing for the entirety of every day is extremely annoying.
I have spent way too much time and energy building elaborate roofed paths and trying to get them to actually use those (they refuse to stay under the roofed path...), or turning off several jobs on the vampire during daytime so that they sit inside and research, I even considered having them "indefinitely sleep" in the coffin every day, but having to manually do all of that every day is hella stupid.

Not to mention that, if they have a lover/husband/wife, they have the "wants to sleep with" negative mood because they will never actually use their bed (or coffin) even if I assign the entirety of their daily schedule to sleeping they'll refuse to use the bed since their "rest" need is full.

I think this could be fixed by just having them require rest like everyone else (I agree that having technically unlimited energy is fitting for a vampire, but the AI ramifications it has on the game are terrible), so is there something I can do to mess with the files to achieve that?

And if the mod's creator (Jecrell?) happens to see this:
This might be a nice option to put in the "mod options" section ingame.
Many mods have options that allow the user to adjust the intensity of certain features or even turn some of them off, and I'd be one of the players who would like to turn off the "vampires never require rest" feature so that they'll just shut up and go to bed during daytime.

There are mod options. als you can change their sleep cycle to be sleep during the day.

The mod options for rim of madness vampires are completely empty.
You can change some things in the scenario (like how many, what generation, vampires you start with and how likely the % of encountering a vampire in-game was), but nothing like this.

And I had the sleep to be set for the entire daylight hours. They just ran to the bed and then decided not to sleep (because their rest bar is permanently full) and then ran out the door again into the sunlight and then back in, in a a loop, all day, every day.

You have a bug with the rest bar then, mine drops jsut fine.

Really? If the rest bar isn't actually SUPPOSED to always be full, that's a great relief.

I tried like 3 different new savegames, one with the default vampire scenario, one with a methusaleh and one with a thinblood (I thought it might have to do with the generations having different energy bonuses), and with and without the "longer nights" thing, and all of them had the same issue.

I guess I'll unsubscribe and delete and resubscribe and redownload the mod, then? Maybe re-install the game if that doesn't help?
Have you figured out what mod causes this? Im having the same issue.

I haven't, sadly.
It just resolved itself after reinstalling the mod and the game and waiting a day (which as i saw on the steam download page included mod updates, sadly it's not possible to see on the steam downloads page which mods exactly just got updated).

They should be sleeping but occasionally I get one day where a vampire has a task that they keep wanting to do (wearing clothes or going to the bathroom if hygiene installed). Rest is supposed to be full at night. During the day its a max of 10%

How did you give your pawn vampirism? I remember having this problem when I did it via prepare carefuly. If you are using it, don't give vampirism there but after game start go to dev mode and give vampirism with dev tool.

When I had this problem I tried every way of acquiring vampirism to see if any of them do not have the stamina issue. Normal starting scenario, prepare carefully, and ingame via console, didn't make a difference on it.
