Rim of Madness - Vampires
Can't commit diablerie
Not sure if i'm just not able to do this right or what but is there a special way you have to do this? I have other (more powerful) vampires coming in all the time to raid my colony, but when i try to have my vamps consume their souls it just doesn't work. They try, but nothing happens. At first i thought I had to do it multiple times but I can't get them to try again on the same target. I have also tried injuring them but my colonist are a little too quick to get a kill.

Just want to know how I am supposed to be able to do this, or if i encountered a bug or something.

I got a similar issue. One of my vamps went on a beast feeding spree so I got my other vamp to commit diablerie on the troubled one. Now they're just fighting eachother forever doing no damage due to both having fortitude. I'm not sure if the diablerie system even works.

it works. You have to wait some time between attempts and particularly high generation vamps like 5th and older Tend to resists most attempts unless fully incapped. It's just hard is all, not broken

Ah okay, thanks for the response.
Sleep is your best friend then have all your other vampires drain ALL of their blood, once they are incapacitated and drained dry, eat their souls (goes good with a side of mashed potatoes). I have a 80% success rate following these steps.
^It worked been trying for hours and making multiple attempts. This worked the first time...FMUDL
