So.... It appears that my game has stopped progressing. I tried saving and reloading and it's still happening. I tried the auto save and something interesting happened: it loaded a ground battle with no units on the map. I could not autoresolve or retreat. The planet was not one i was attacking. I suspect that 2 computer players were trying an invasion and it glitched.
I can send you my save game file if you want. Its 3.3 and I have all the patches. Oh yeah it's the gold version of course.
