(Hopefully) not really an issue, more what appears to be an oversight in release documentation? Haven't had a chance to play the release yet.

This was back in early July.

Sorting by "Capture status, spy level+spy name" or "Capture status, mission status"
spy level+spy name = new sort field I'm sending the UI

As you can see I keep forgetting about the right-click escape option, I do recall and use it midway in this video, but moving the mouse is so trained into me at this point.

You also fixed sorting direction arrows in that screen IIRC.

Add.0.0.5.8: Modification to the Espionage Screen so it now includes Spy Level in its sorting by Spy logic. Also modified it so it would properly recall your last sorting index and direction instead of resetting all the time

Was the line item I added for that, but yeah my documentation is pretty basic, and I'm sure I missing stuff

I didn't look through any alt doc, just at the readme, which mentions (so far as I can tell) most 5.8 changes but only mentions 5.7b and earlier espionage/spy changes.

5.7b worked flawlessly, but 5.8 does not start. It even does not get to the menu, just a black screen with a moo mouse cursor. No error message or alike and I can only close the window. System is Archlinux. No Idea how I can track down this issue. Any tips?

That is most likely a platform merge issue. I think the file is called "player.log" I need that to correct,

Nevermind, found it - will be posting update to Nexus, ok updated

Thanks for the quick reply! I checked your version from nexus, but it seems identical to the version from steam (same md5).

Great, looks like I managed to update nexus with the same version - I do have a fix - please be patient. Unfortunately I do not have anymore time right now - it will be later tonight before I can upload the correct one. Estimate 4-5 hours until I will be back.

No problem. Will check tomorrow. Thanks again for your great work!

I noticed a change, not sure if it's because of the patch or not. When I have a factory at a node and go to build an outpost, it shows all the things that can build, the ones not applicable being darkened. I'm pretty sure it used to do this only at gas planet/asteroid locations, not at nodes. Not a bug or issue, just a change.
WhatIsSol  [developer] Sep 14, 2018 @ 7:23pm
Yeah that screen is shared with the planet build screen, So when I changed to sort on one it changes the sort on both.

Aha, I see.

Very first impressions, love middle and right mouse click, growth colony focus, absolutely hate lack of notifications after turn 100 or so - going into colonies with (almost) no idea what was last built and what I was doing there in general. Can I turn the notifications on without breaking the current game?

@kitpaddel: OK, Nexus is updated with the new version now.

@prokolyo: In the ReadMe.txt in section ":::: 4.3.9: Backend.Settlements.NotificationReduction" tells how to turn that off. Setting is controlled in “Globals.yaml” file in the mod folder search for "ON_TURN: 100" and change to "ON_TURN: 99999". Personally I would make my own mod to make such customization so your changes would not be lost when you next update UCP but that is completely optional of course and probably overkill for a single value.

You can change this setting with no effect to save game at all.

That's great. Yeah, no, my own mod is way beyond me :) I'm just gonna change this one thing. I love pretty much everything else. Very surprised I can't do with this one actually. I mean, I commented against it when it was discussed, but had no idea that would be such a dealbreaker... Just to make sure about the mod folder, is it this one?
