(1) - Grab a UI Overhaul Mod, Recommendation: Overhaul Dynamic

(2) - Rollback Game to Functional Patch.

(3) - Set Ethics, Traits, Etc.

(4) - Re-Update to Current Build

(5) - Add any missing traits.

Overview:

Overall, this is a Mod-Use bypass for the technologically challenged, by definition including those who are fine with spending 10 minutes clicking buttons, closing game, and doing nonsense yet are Explicitly against any level of coding. You cannot change ethics in the current build and must roll back to do so, but you will notice that the changes and ethics will appear in some parts of the interface. This is likely due to interface overhauls which has some of the code miss strings/threads attached to the UI. Given the fact the updated UI mod bypasses the Crash To Desktop, allowing play, this is likely the case. Not all civics work anymore, and, sadly, my attempts to join the Mechanicum As the Machine God were rejected by Replicator Drone.exe.

If you are considering this to be an increase mod with extra steps, you will survive until the Mod Dev gets the small amount of enjoyment the game gives him. As a businessman myself, it is very easy to lose track of passions for work, and it is imperative to actually sample the content you make, lest you lose the spark. Consider this CTD bypass my gift to the Mod Dev so he can enjoy the game a little while longer before fixing the UI bug. Given how 95% of the mod works with small tweaks, there may be merit in a partial code merge to deal with the issue temporarily. If the lack of update persists for more than a few weeks, I will likely commission some Fiverr code junkies to help the Dev update the UI to specs. This update does not look that intensive, just a time-cost.

Tragic that drafting this bypass was invalidated by an actual patch. Volunteerism at work~!
