ANNOUNCEMENT
**********************

As you might already know, Paradox is planning a big update "Le Guin", which will majorly affect game's economy. For me personally, weak economic system alongside with boring tile-based planetary management, were the most general complaints towards Stellaris, so I'm looking forward to these changes and will try my best to adapt my mod to it at it's full potential.

***********************

Here are the links for the mods, created by @NewAgeKid52 and @ThugQueen69, which are based on mine:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1329351538
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1335743415

In a way, they can be used as a replacement for my original mod, in case I don't find anybody to keep up the current maintenance.

2.0 UPDATE
***************

Mod is currently updated to 2.0. Please check. Use "Bug Reports" thread for problem reports.

I have to tell you that this was probably the last big Stellaris update I follow. The mod itself is very big and adapting everything to changes of such a scale takes enormous amount of time, especially considering the style in which Paradox holds these updates - absolutely careless towards modders, I'd say.

So, in the near future I will probably have to pass the maintenance of this project to somebody else capable. In hte meantime everyone is free to take the mod and make his own version of it. I'd be grateful for credits, of course:)

=============================================================================

In one of the pre-release Stellaris videos I've seen on Youtube, a chief game developer (not sure who was it, not Martin Anward, some other guy) pointed out, that a key feature of Stellaris will be it's high replayability potential. Stellaris do have it, and I fairly believe that my mod significantly enhances this potential, with all the diversity it provides for customization and development of your Empire's Culture.

It completely reworks almost all the existing Ethics, Civics and Traditions, putting them together to a complex and at the same time pretty coherent system.

This is an overhaul mod, so PLEASE, pay attention to the FULL DESCRIPTION in the related topic

I've opened the donation mainly because, unfortunately, the development of this mod takes not just my time - which I enjoy spending - but also my money, which I have to spend on graphics (icons and pictures).

Any help is appreciated!

It might take a while before this mod gets updated. So lets just wait.

I see the question asked will continue to go unanswered. :/ take care everyone. Time for me to shelve Stellaris again until I get foolish and try it all over

Uh It might just be me but I have the mod active but the additonal ethics are nowhere to be found when I start up the Game.

@Ed The Necromancer.

This mod is an overhaul, get a fan-made version of this mod that only touches Ethics and nothing else.

Please make compatible with Alpha Mod

I'm afraid to say that with this mod active, none of the empires in my game expand, build fleets, or explore. I played 100 years into a game, used the observe command to check the whole galaxy, and they were all with only one star system. Then after disabling this mod, they started exploring and expanding immediately upon loading. It's unfortunate, because it's a very neat mod.

Destopho Yea ive noticed it too. theres a mod that we both have which may be screwing with the Ai's ability to build fleets.
Destopho Sep 9 @ 7:32pm
Im having a problem with some of the AI. Every new game start up ill go threw the motions of expanding fast, keeping balance, and preparing for iminate war with some other Civilization. But evey time i just find civs that have super high fleet caps, but little to no actual fleets. Needless to say this makes it very boring till some Fallen Empire Awakens to actually provide a challenge. So I was wounding if anyone else might have experianced this. Or if im just dumb and there is some setting that might be effecting how much an Empire invest in its military might.
CommonLogic Sep 8 @ 11:45pm
(I consider vanilla ethics as major, as they're the ones who give the empire names their names.)

@CookieHonstah

I agree, one game I met an empire with no name (Generic Empire behavior), it was another oligarchy with no major ethics ;-;.
