What do the Iron and Mythril golems eat?

Was wondering cause no matter what I give them they keep starving

the iron golem you have to deactivate to regen hunger so i assume its the same for the mythril

i deactivate the golem,it doesn't work,its keep starving,just be slower....

You need to level up its fortitude. The higher its fortitude, the more it regenerates
