Divine evolutions
For the divine paladins/berserkers/archers, do you need to get them leveled up to max first before using their upgrade (like the Corrupt Divine Paladin item)? Or when you use it, does it spawn the Dark Paladin at level X, like with the Alpha/Supreme reaper in Extinction Core?

You need to learn the respective Engram to "create" spawning items to summon the upgraded versions of the Divines. To actually make them, you need to go out and kill Divines to nab their souls. This is NECESSARY but pretty easy. Just target a low level Divine and take them out. They ALWAYS drop their Soul. You can craft their "Spawning item" in the Alchemy Table under "Summons". Do know that most of these Summoning items require a LOT of materials such as Element, Black Pearls, etc which is justified since these Divines are uber powerful.
