Voyager tame

I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I have put over 100 tranq arrows into a lvl 50 Voyager and it's not going down. Never even tried to run away. Anyone here who has tamed one willing to give me some advice?

The torpor on voyagers drains EXTREMELY quickly. It can drop a thousand torpor in an about 5 second period. As a result, you need to ensure it's constantly being hit with tranqs, as it gaining torpor negates the fast drain.
