The HAMER is not designed to engage in combat situations, however retarded ballsy ♥♥♥♥♥ keep replacing the cargo bays with shield generators it is still capable of defending itself should the need arise, as it is equipped with a commercial shield generator to deflect light fire and heavy armour to protect its cargo and not its utterly useless, disposable crew. In addition to that, the HAMER possesses respectable hyperspace capabilities and excellent mobility for a transport type ship, as well as lesser reported incidents of pirate attacks due to it commonly being mistaken for a warship. Consequently, these benefits come at a cost as the HAMER is priced notably higher than other similarly purposed ships."
