JSRS Studios presents:
JSRS SOUNDMOD



A sound mod for ArmA3 . My personal creation of a new audiovisual direction. With more than a few thousand new sound effects JSRS SOUNDMOD provides a powerful and new sound experience, from all weapons, vehicles, effects, maps and what not!

For those having problems with mod dependency: Whenever you load a saved game or want to edit a mission that was saved with an older version of JSRS and you end up with messages like "Missing Addon JSRS_SOUNDMOD_GLOCK17" or similar, now you can use this:
JSRS Soundmod Dependency Fixes

This is a CFG Bundle of JSRS Patches that were used in the past that are not available any longer. Download it, use it as a mod, load your mission/edited mission and save them again and the dependency is gone.

Why does the UKS-74U sound so beefy? Why do several smaller calibre weapons sound like they're shooting .50 BMG?

Client needs it, server doesn't. It doesn't do anything for the server (it's just swapping base Arma sounds with new sound files).

i loved these new sound effects, but it brings a huge cost, the footsteps sounds are too low so i barely can hear near enemys like vanila

Sort of ACE compatible. For some reason it screws up the QBZ-95-1 GL and gives it an MOA of 0.7.

This mod is broken when running it with the RHS mods.

Everything sounds great except two things: (Civilian?) vehicles dont have any sounds, or rather their engines make 0 sound. You can hear the terrain that its driving on, you can hear helis, planes - but not (civilian?) vehicles at all. Also sometimes the weapon sounds stop working, so youre in the middle of a firefight and your weapon just goes completely silent.
