Sector 13 - The Flaw

Beskrivning
I've spent about 22 hours combined in this.
It's really long, insane, got lot's of narrow roads and deathtraps. Ambience and general setting vary dephending on where you are in the track and the soundtrack changes once.
This level even have someone called "Mr. H" that talks to you and helping you out in different ways.

"Sector 13 - The Flaw" is not hard to begin with, but the difficulty get's increasingly higher the longer you go.

I tried to make the guy called "Mr. H" to make a story out of the level, but it was really hard to avoid any text distract you, as well as avoid boring driving while he is talking.

Bugs/problems:
* WAY to bright lights from the sun for some players. Not sure why this happens but it can be fixed by turning off "sun shafts". Currently the only way to fix this.
* Distance tells you that you are subscribing to a deleted save when you start the game. Select "Cancel" to keep the save.
* Bad spelling/grammar..
* Dunno yet..

The Diamond medal is HARD!
It is possible by following the track, but your run need to be absolutely perfect, thus- "Diamond"

Medal/time:
Diamond: 5 min
Gold: 8 min 30 sec
Silver: 12 min 30 sec
Bronze: 15 min 30 sec

Don't worry! I won't forget!
If you want to check out my first (extremelyshortandeasy) level, it's Broken Society. The reason of it not being from this account is because I was using a friends account. (I then eventually got the game myself and actually just started doing stuff instead of leaching from my friends account). But anyway, I'll work on it and tell you soon!

Sure thing! Happy to help :)
I would love to see your work when you are done, so if you haven't forgotten me by that time, please hollar it here to announce it for me!

jeod007 I haven't been in the edit section of the game since I posted this level, but I can sure help you out any way I can :)

The text is simply stolen/borrowed(?) from one of the official/main levels of the game. You can load one of the levels to edit, then find elements within that level and simply copy/save it to your own personal folder (ingame, in the editor).

1: Just try out one of the official levels to find stuff you want to implement.
2: Remember the name of the level and where you are on the track to find the object/element.
3: Select the object/element or whatever it is, and save it
Optionally: you can select what you want and Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V(?) when you load your own level.
Copy-pasting can be tested on the official level as well, just to check if it works or not. Just remember to NOT SAVE an edited official level. Might be... problematic.

Write back to me if you have any further questions :)
And thank you for trying my level!

Hey! Mind telling me how you got the text to work? I'm rather new to this game's level creation design, and I love how you did this level. The idea of text is rather amazing and I can think of many different ways to use it. Keep up the good work!

greenscorpeon3 Thanks!

Yes, the light-problem is mentioned below by Reptile_Mk2 as well.
Disabling "Sun shafts" is currently the only known way of fixing this. Sure hope it helps for you as well!

Great map!
Its awesome to see someone try and implement some sort of story into these tracks.
There is only one problem in my opinion, in some places the light shafts are too bright, i cant see the road and the text that is show up

Well I didn't do much, but sure hope you enjoy the level better now when you can just turn the shafts off :)
