Description
Weapon and System Pods ships are designed to fulfill multiple roles via a single base vehicle equipped with projector-stored modules and parts. This is done as a means of dealing with the small hangar space on most ships by using just a basic ship-attached or hand-held welder to equip and revamp the base craft into a more specialized role. Once the task is complete, the pod(s) can be jettisoned for grinding and recycling into replacement equipment.
