Hydrocraft Mod for Project Zomboid

Current Version: 11.1 - Tested on Build 40.43

Hydrocraft is a mod based around crafting and filling in the empty world of zomboid with more stuff. It is inspired by survival crafting games like Haven and Hearth. It is very much a WIP and will be tweaked and added onto.

Large objects when I spread, and do not have a texture object, for example a workbench

(thanks for the link jake, let's hope we're never in a position to need to try that) - apart from in-game :)

Can this be used on multiplayer, and can it be added to an existing game?

Sry, forgot to add the link to a vid on YT:

Sth. i didn´t know, too.
There´s different techniques, you can put the bottle directly into the flame/onto glowing coals or (which i guess is preferable) hang the bottle over the flame.

In some videos on Youtube you can see the bottle changing its shape/form which should be avoided because of chemical ingredients that make the bottle soft (acetaldehyde or ethanal) will be transfered more fast from the plastic into the water causing a higher concentration of that chem (that is, btw., happening slowly all the time).
In a survival situation ethanal will be your last problem to think of though :steamhappy:

Acetaldehyde (or ethanal) can cause cirrhosis of the liver but can also be found in cheese and fruit at higher concentrations than in a normal plastic bottle (not heated).

Maybe (i hope so) copper containers will be usable for cooking in the future.

cool jake, thats good to know (im guessing the flame needs to go onto something else and just the heat transfers to the plastic?

yeah maybe being able to boil in copper could be added in a future patch (either way it still can be used for copper ingots) :)

You can actually boil water in a PET (plastic) bottle, it´s a good thing to know for survival.
Copper kettles (closed ones) are actually used to brew beer at the step where hops is added and cooked/boiled.
So there´s no reason for not being able to cook anything and i also wondered why those items are for storage only.
