Advanced F124 Sachsen Fictional (Battle-) Frigate

Beskrivning
This mod is a fictional modification of the F124 Sachsen with many more vls and weapons.

So it did get a bit out of hand after realizing that the vls model of the F124 mod was a bit bigger then it should be. Turns out it can fit 64 vls forward of the bridge and 96 behind the bridge.
A possible time frame for this ship would be 2005 and I tried to use only weapons that were available back then.

modified and added Features:
  • 160(!) vls cells
    - 64 Aster 30
    - 40 SM2-ER Blk IV
    - 96 (quad packed) ESSM
    - 32 Tomahawk TLAM BlkIV

  • 40 Harpoon with secondary land attack capability (RGM-84L)

  • 5 inch Mk45 mod 4 Gun with extended range ammunition

  • 2 40mm Bofors L72 DARDO with proximity fuze ammunition

  • 2 millenium CIWS with programmable fuze ammunition

  • 2 Mk15 Phalanx CIWS

  • 2 M270 Rocket Pods with GMLRS missiles with 45nm range.
    (firing over 45nm will result in the missile self destructing before hitting the target, had to set range over 45nm to achive actual 45nm range)

  • 2 Bofors RBU anti submarine, divers and torpedo Mortar

  • 2 SPG-62 illuminators for SM2-ER terminal guidance (APAR does not have sufficient range)

  • Custom Sea Lynx with upgraded radar and visual sensors and many more (fictional) loadouts
    - (Sonarboys, Hellfire, Penguin, AIM-9L, Mavericks, ...)

  • Custom Schiebel S-100 CAMCOPTER as reconnaissance drone

  • AN/SQR-19B towed array

  • second gas turbine added and upgraded to Lm2500+G4, for a speed of well over 30 knots

Again, it is all a bit over the top, but it is fun to play and gives you so many options and weapons to play with.

Bugs:

All land attack missiles are broken in the current stable version. The have already been fixed in the open beta. So either join the open beta or wait for a regular update.

Some weapons are hidden behind the EMCON menu on the bottom right. To actively use them -> right click the ship -> Engage with -> selection of all the weapons

i bought the game just 2 days ago and i cant get ANY mods to work. None of the ships appear after i set them up to spawn, all mods who are required are installed. None of the mod vessels i want to use show up in game. Not the scharnhorst and none of the other german mods like this one. Was there an update that broke mod support?!
Normaly the steam workshopü stuff just works...

I looked through the files regarding the CIWS, but did not find anything suspicious. Phalanx and Millenium (kitbash) are both core game, and the RAM comes with the F124 and should not have been touched by me. So yea, still no idea whats wrong, sorry.

Hey, it's me again, I've been playing around with the ship again and trying to see if I can get it working again, this time the game gave me a different error that provides a little more information; however, it's too long to post on a Steam comment. The error seems point to a CIWS turret that can't be loaded.

I would not know of any mod or option that fixes this. But you are not really missing out, as I made sure that the hidden weapons are the automatic CIWS and more useless ones.
Hidden are:
-35mm millenium CIWS
-20mm mk15 Phalanx CIWS
But both of the automatically engage missiles that are closing in to the ship
-27mm Mauser BK27, but those have very limited range anyway
-.50cal mostly here for good looks, otherwhise useless

But still, due to the huge number of weapons on the panel at the bottom, some weapons overlap the ship's option icons (turning on the radar, etc.). Starting from missiles and ending with 127mm and 40mm shells, I can click them with the cursor, further to the left I can't, and there are at least 6 more types of weapons that are inaccessible to click on them with the cursor.
Has no one in the whole world made a mod that could change this bottom panel and make the list of weapons a separate line?

Just in case, I unsubscribed and subscribed again. I went into the game. Yes, the game is in Russian (I didn't change it), even though I'm from Ukraine (Russian has been our second language for many decades). And yes, now all weapons are labeled with their names, on the panel at the bottom of the screen and when you right-click on the ship itself.

Assuming you have your game in Russian, it is most likely caused by that. I updated the mod to hopefully add compatibility for Russian and other languages.
If the problem persists, try changing the language to English and tell me if that would fix the problem.
