Description
PRE-DESCRIPTION DISCLAIMER: YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THE LISTED ITEMS UNDER "REQUIRED ITEMS"
You should NOT be using ANY compatibility patches between the mods listed as prerequisites, as that is what this mod does!

Technologies are nice, they're what make nations tick and what sets apart Generics from Unique Nations. Many people have come together over the years and created expansions to various technologies and equipment that expands this facet of Old World Blues... but because of it being a multi-person work, they don't exactly play nicely with each other.

This is where UTCM comes in, reworking and patching together "Roads and Rail", "Tech Expansion", "Tech Tree Rework", and "Power Armor Rework" to all be compatible with one another, as well as fully integrating the abandoned OWB: Robots Reworked into the same tech ecosystem. To rephrase: you should NOT use Robots Reworked if you have UTCM, as it WILL conflict.

For a full description of the various effects of this mod, see The Discussion Forum Post

REQUIREMENTS:

-Old World Blues
-OWB Roads and Rail
-OWB: Tech Tree Rework
-OWB Tech Expansion
-OWB TEME
-OWB: Power Armor Reworked

To get the most out of Power Armor and the Robots Reworked aspects of this mod, you will need to have the No Step Back DLC, however it's not a hard requirement.

As a heads-up:

Because HOI4 has changed various UI's around, in order to avoid reliance on Arms Against Tyranny to access army/navy/air perks they are now located in the Research Screen.

They are still free to research, but if you selected the research screen via an already-researching tech then you'll have to resume whatever technology you were researching prior.

Addendum: all this assumes said patched mod doesn't update in a way that adds something that isn't covered by the patch to be overwritten, in that case I'm SoL lol

@tyrel68 Load Order matters less in the cases when mods are specifically assigned to overwrite one another, as with a compatibility patch it doesn't matter if UTCM or the patched mod are first if the Compatch overwrites both.

Like, imagine a compatch as the top of a mountain, and everything below it is either vertically covered by the top (and is patched) or is "below" the top and can exist on either side of the compatch.

That's a long story just to say "I went through the patched mod and their prereqs to overwrite anything that conflicts with UTCM with either UTCM's thing or a combination of UTCM and that mod"

@Zam138 yeah thank you i seen it in my game, was like yeah that's the best...keep up the good work and thanks once again for your time, its appreciated

@Zorelnam While I can't speak to much to the specifics of that mod since I'm not the one who made it, Foxy's TNO GUI for ERX also deals with Defines and Unit Equipment so I'd suggest ending a run first before disabling it for a new game
Zorelnam Nov 16 @ 4:47am
Hey man, awesome work, truly incredible the amount of mods you have managed to make compatible here, i installed it and followed the instructions and it works.

By the way, is it alright if i disable the TNO GUI? or will it lead to further problems? I am not super fond of the color scheme

It crashes for you, yes, but for some reason it doesn't crash for me nor any of the people across various OWB discords I've asked, and the only people who do claim it's crashing have yet to say anything about their modlists in the Bug Reports forum or in the Compatibility issues forum, so I'm going to assume that something has installed wrong for you, you've downloaded an incompatible mod or don't have a patch installed, or that you're working with one of the map mods and haven't annexed away the usual suspects like the Itza, Breakers, or Langenburg.

Regardless, while I'm sorry you're crashing, that's not our problem.
