Orange Alert - USA invades Greenland Frozen Stand-Off and Northern Supply Run

Description
A major military confrontation is set to unfold as U.S. forces prepare to launch an amphibious assault on Greenland’s capital, Nuuk, following a directive from President Donald J. Trump to secure the territory. In response, Denmark, with critical support from Norway’s submarine fleet, is mobilizing to defend its sovereignty and prevent the landing. The operation is expected to revolve around intense naval and air engagements. Denmark and Norway will rely on submarine warfare to disrupt the U.S. advance, while American forces aim to neutralize these threats and establish control. With U.S. submarines also expected in the region, an undersea battle is likely. The outcome remains uncertain, but what is clear is that this operation will be a defining moment in modern geopolitics, testing alliances, military strategy, and the limits of power projection in the Arctic.

As Europe is fully engaged in helping out Ukraine in its defence against Russia, weapons are sparce, Denmark had to search among African and Latin American countries for old gear it can quickly ship to Greenland (which is currently "defended" by US bases, which are adversarial in this scenario). Also procure old decomissioned planes from France. Only "modern" bits are subs. USA also has some old gear, as it most effort is gone to counteract Chinese expansion in South China sea, as well as repell Houties in Red Sea. But DJT won't wait and Pete Hegseth sent few emojies and assembled whaever could be found, including re-commisioned Gearing DD. The mission was baked on the fly in the Signal chat.

Sailor, thank you! This weekend next and final installment is to be published. Took a week off for vacation. The good thing USA and Europe will be friends again!

Your mission brief is amazing, a great patriot smile!

The second mission is more an interlude for a final third mission, some scarce resource management and patience exercise in submarine warfare.
The third mission is already in the work and will be a culmination of series! It should surprise many!

Mission 2 is coming today or tomorrow! Scenario and triggers are done and tested, just need to work out the messages, description, intel, briefing.

Happy to announce, version 2 is here. Much reworked, slightly different scenarios and assets for both sides and both sides of the gameplay, mainly due to AI limitation and assets utilization capabilities. Please unsubscribe from the mod (after disabling and exiting the game), then subscribe, launch the game and enable the mod. Otherwise the old version will be loaded.

Many thanks for @Nomis for their contributions.

The missing airfield was indeed due to mod dependency. It works now.

Another reason why AI side is often needs to be overpowered - AI simply incapable of using its resources smartly, particularily ASW and Sub, Airwings. Thus said, the USA side of the mission would be simply rolling over the Greenland. I will definitely make adjustments and change power balance for each side, to always buff AI, until AI in the game is somewhat comparable to at least average player.

@nomis it's in the links section, but I haven't uploaded it yet, will do later today. 4h20m, must edit it out, mostly AWS job with helos and timid attacks on the Landing Force with Excorsets
